Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter
Autumn has arrived, and with it comes those irresistible pumpkin cravings!
This simple recipe is perfect for tossing into the slow cooker and enjoying on toast, biscuits, or wherever you want to indulge in some pumpkin goodness.
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 30 oz Pumpkin Puree
- ½ cup Apple Juice
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Ginger
- ½ tsp Cloves
- ¼ tsp Allspice
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker, stirring well.
Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, remove the lid, stir the mixture, and continue cooking for an additional 1-2 hours until it has darkened and thickened.
Turn off the slow cooker and let it cool.
Pour the pumpkin butter into jars and refrigerate.
