My dog’s absolute favorite day of the week is dog park day. That’s when the whole family piles into the car with a few extra tennis balls to share with other furry pals and heads to our local park. Dog parks are unique spaces where dogs and their owners come together, fostering bonds and socializing within the community. We’ve made many human friends there, and our dog has become incredibly social thanks to our weekly excursions.

However, not all dog parks are created equal. Many cities and smaller communities struggle to allocate funds for them. Thankfully, Beneful has acknowledged this gap and has been actively working for the past five years to help build and enhance dog parks across the nation.

The Beneful Dream Dog Park Project began as a contest, allowing the Beneful team to visit one winning community each year to provide a Dream Dog Park renovation. Over time, the program has expanded to bring even more joy to communities across the country.

This year’s objective is to support twelve parks through donations and service days. Additionally, they’re partnering with GoFundMe to further this mission. This collaboration allows dog park organizers to create campaigns aimed at raising awareness and funds for enhancements or to kickstart new parks. Each month, Beneful will highlight a new GoFundMe dog park campaign.
