With the pharmacy inside my local Target now converted to CVS, I’ve been enjoying their digital tools for several months. CVS is renowned for its fantastic ExtraCare Rewards and Pharmacy and Health Rewards, which I can now utilize INSIDE Target!

CVS ExtraCare Program

The ExtraCare loyalty program and the option to join the ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards allow me to earn $5 in ExtraBucks Rewards for every 10 prescriptions I fill. I can also gain extra rewards for participating in healthy activities, such as getting immunizations or signing up for email refill reminders, and then use those ECB to treat myself to something fun!

The CVS Mobile App alerts me when my prescriptions are ready, simplifies the refill process, and provides easy access to all necessary information. Additionally, the app allows me to check for any potential drug interactions, identify pills by entering their descriptive features like shape, color, and imprint, and scan the prescription’s barcode for easy ordering!

The CVS.com pharmacy page is tailored for effortless health information management. I can keep track of when to refill and collect my prescriptions, obtain critical information about my medications, schedule future refills, sign up for text notifications about my prescriptions, find local CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations, and seamlessly transfer prescriptions to CVS Pharmacy!

The Drug Information Center provides quick access to clear and concise information on thousands of medications. This empowers me to make better health choices and engage in more informed discussions with my healthcare providers. It also includes medication overviews with large pill images and “How This Drug Works” videos that illustrate the effects of the medication on the body.

For those on multiple prescriptions, there’s an option to consolidate both prescription and non-prescription health information into a personalized, printable list that can be conveniently folded to fit in a wallet. This facilitates improved communication between patients and healthcare providers.
