With the school year in full swing, my oldest son and his girlfriend have been dealing with a lot of stress. To help them unwind, I thought it would be a great idea to treat them to a relaxing evening at Applebee’s for what they could call the “Best Date Ever.”
Initially, I was going to summarize their meal, but my son surprised me with a review written in his own words!
“The service was fantastic! The host greeted us warmly from the start, and our server, Alex, was friendly and made us feel at home. Aly and I were immediately drawn to the spinach artichoke dip from the appetizer menu.”
“It arrived piping hot and tasted just as amazing as it looked.”
“Aly chose the new maple bacon chicken piadina, while I went for the Butcher’s Reserve 12 oz. sirloin steak cooked medium rare, paired with garlic green beans and classic fries. Although our food took a little longer to arrive, it was absolutely worth the wait, as it was incredibly delicious.”
“The fries were perfectly crispy, the steak was tender and cooked just right, and Aly’s meal was equally delightful and filling.”
“When Alex asked if we wanted dessert, we hesitated until I spotted the churro s’mores. They were so irresistible that we polished off the entire plate, even though we were already quite full. To top off our fantastic experience, the host kindly held the door open for us and invited us to return. Overall, it was a wonderful evening!”
“At the end of our chat last night, my son thanked me again, mentioning it was the best night they’ve had in a long time. Applebee’s truly gave them a ‘Best Date Ever’ experience.”
