So where should you go next?

These are the two popular international destinations that you can now visit with nonstop American Airlines flights:

Dallas-Fort Worth To Veracruz, Mexico

In June, American Airlines will launch a new nonstop service to Veracruz, Mexico, just in time for the busy summer season.

This will be a daily service and it will start on June 12. The aircraft type for this route will be the Embraer E175.

Dallas-Fort Worth is American Airlines’ largest hub, and this will open up these new destinations to the wider American network.

As well as enabling nonstop flights from Dallas, this will also enable one-stop connections from over 100 destinations in the U.S. The possibilities are nearly limitless, and Veracruz will be more open to American travelers than ever before.

Why Visit Veracruz?

Veracruz is a beautiful coastal city, and as well as its beautiful beaches, it is best known for its colonial-era architecture and rich cultural heritage. It is a popular destination for Mexican tourists but is a relatively new spot for American travelers.

But Veracruz is well worth exploring. You’ll find a compact port and downtown area that are easy to explore on foot and a city that is the perfect place to gain a deeper understanding of Mexican culture.

Eat in local restaurants or participate in rich cultural festivals, such as the Cumbre Tajín Festival, which takes place in the city each March.

Outside of the city, one of the highlights of a visit to Veracruz is its outstanding natural beauty. You’ll find incredible waterfalls, climbable mountains, volcanoes, rivers, and beautiful forests. Eco-tourism is growing rapidly in popularity here.

If you want to enjoy the great outdoors or you’re a thrill seeker with a sense of adventure then there’s no better place to enjoy activities such as kayaking, zip lining, rappelling through waterfalls or hiking through jungles.

Dallas-Fort Worth To Brisbane, Australia

In October, American Airlines will launch a new nonstop service to Brisbane, Australia. This new flight route will originate from Dallas-Fort Worth and will be the longest nonstop flight in the American Airlines network.

This will be a daily service, and it will start on October 27.

American will use their newly designed Boeing 787-9 plane on this route. As well as regular economy seats, travelers can also choose one of the 51 Flagship Suite seats or 32 premium economy seats.

Why Visit Brisbane?

As well as being a great jumping-off point for a wider tour of Australia, Brisbane is the capital of Queensland and an amazing destination in its own right.

Travelers can enjoy some of Australia’s most spectacular coastlines, incredible weather with more than 280 days of sunshine each year, and a huge range of wildlife experiences.

Brisbane is often accused of being a destination devoid of culture, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. The city is home to GOMA (The Gallery of Modern Art) which is one of the most famous and important art galleries in Australia.

Brisbane also boasts a thriving live music community, so you’ll find events in the city most nights, as well as regular festivals and fiestas throughout the year.

But the main reason to visit Brisbane is to explore Australia’s Sunshine State. You’ll be sure of a warm and sunny welcome whatever time of year you choose to visit. And there are so many wildlife encounters here that you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Brisbane Australia

Just 15 minutes outside the city is the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. This is the world’s largest koala sanctuary and is home to 130 of these notoriously lazy animals waiting for you to cuddle and feed them. You can also feed and interact with kangaroos here.

Or try the East Queensland Wildlife Center, where you can meet more native animals, including turtles, lizards, and pythons.

Looking to stretch your legs? Climb to the top of Mont Cootha, which is the tallest mountain in the state and offers incredible views.
