Just a few weeks ago, the American multinational hospitality company Hyatt Hotels & Resorts opened a new all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, and now a new expansion in Mexico has been announced.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation is adding new properties to its portfolio in top Mexican destinations. The company’s brand in Mexico will grow by 30% by 2025.
In spring this year, the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes will open its doors in the capital, welcoming leisure travelers and entrepreneurs as it will also operate as a hub for business operations.
In 2024 the first Park Hyatt hotel will open in Los Cabos: Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol. One of the top new luxury resorts expected in the region.
Also in 2024, a new impressive resort will be added to the popular Yucatán Peninsula, the Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort.
The company expects to add more properties by 2025 as Mexico is one of Hyatt’s customers’ favorite destinations.

Hyatt Regency Mexico City
This new luxury hotel is already accepting reservations from May 16.
The Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes has a strategic location next to the World Trade Center Mexico City and chic neighborhoods like Coyoacán and La Condesa.

Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol
Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open a new luxury resort featuring a beachside golf course.
All the details of the amenities have not yet been disclosed. These are the main characteristics provided by the company:
- 162 guestrooms and 35 residences.
- A 13,000 sq ft spa area with 10 tents for wellness treatments.
The facade of the resort is in the charge of the firm SB architects based in San Francisco, along with the local firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos.
All the main and traditional resort amenities and services like onsite restaurants, fitness centers, event venues, spa areas, pools, bars, and Internet connections are likely to be included in the price per night.
The hospitality company has another two properties in Cabo, The Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Place Los Cabos, that will continue operations. Soon three Hyatt resorts will welcome travelers to this top destination.
Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort
The 18th Hyatt hotel in Cancun will open its doors during spring next year. According to the information shared by The Cancun Sun, travelers booking stays in this new resort can expect high-class service and the best amenities.
More details are yet to come, but these are the main characteristics and amenities of the new Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort:
- More than 500 rooms, 46 luxury suites —including one Presidential Suite—and 28 will have private pools.
- Fitness center.
- Six bars.
- Eleven restaurants.
- Golf course.
- Pool.
- Spa.
- Private beach access.
- Meeting facilities.
This new property will join other popular Hyatt Hotels in the city, like the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, the Hyatt Zilara, and the Breathless Riviera Cancún Resort & Spa.
More Hyatt Hotels In Mexico By 2025
Mexico has been described by the company as a “desirable destination known for its culture, architecture, cuisine, and history, offering memorable experiences for guests,” and a successful future has been envisioned.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently acquired the hotel brand Dream Hotel and The Chatwal San Miguel will also join the Hyatt expansion in Mexico in 2024, offering travelers more options and fascinating vacation experiences.
By 2025 the hospitality company expects to add a Thompson Hotels brand hotel in Monterrey, the Thompson Monterrey, for a luxury lifestyle in Monterrey city.
And another Park Hyatt, the first urban Park Hyatt, will open in Mexico City also by 2025: Park Hyatt Mexico City.
