Iceland
Iceland has retained its place as the most peaceful country in the world for the 15th year running.
In fact, Iceland is so safe that as well as securing first place for being the most peaceful country overall, it also secured the top spot in all three individual categories of safety and security, ongoing conflict, and militarization.

Crime rates in Iceland are low, there is no army in the country, and the police force doesn’t carry guns.
As well as being incredibly safe, Iceland is also a beautiful country that is welcoming to tourists from around the world.
